Round Two
Round Three
Round Four
Round Five

JOSH KODAI: Who do you think has the great advantage is it MP or EM? both of them are good fighters but comes march 19 fight there will be a sure winner and i think a draw is not an option on fight night, do you think the experience of EM fighting great boxers will help him win the fight or the power and youthness of MP will shattered the dream of one of the recognized MEXICAN BOXING HERO? What do you think?

Kimo Morrison:

I think that they both have distinct advantages and would not be surprised to see either one come out victorious, but IMO I think Manny has the edge. Experience is a great asset, as is youth, which one will over come is yet to be seen only on fight night.

Arthur: Do you see a future showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather ever happening? If Pacquiao knocks out Morales, defeats Barrera in a rematch, and defeats Marquez, he will be universally recognized as either the number 1 or number 2 fighter pound for pound - in which case a super showdown with Mayweather might be the next move.

Kimo Morrison:

No I don't, Floyd has his eyes set where they have been set for many years now, Oscar DLH and that is it! He will be moving up shortly after his next bout is my guess.

Dean: I don't think Pacquiao will have an issue on fighting Morales @ 130lbs because in the Barrera fight, he weighted 136 on fight time and he handled Barrera very well w/o compromising speed. Roach said they're going to come in 127 so that would probably be 136-137lbs come fight time. Morales on the other hand when fighting Barrera (3rd fight) was around 142lbs on fight time while Barrera was 135 lbs more or less and Barrera handled Morales well. So I conclude that the weight issue will not affect Pacman's speed which contradicts to what some "boxing gurus" claimed. =)

Kimo Morrison:

I agree...

Kareem1966: This site is very interesting for boxing fan... Anyways, I feel that Morales will be KO within 1 to 6 rounds.

I believe the so called inborn courage and warrior guy. Their Genes/blood is different from an ordinary 'homo sapiens'. I've been watching all PacMan fights and I noticed that he used to bite his mouthpiece so hardly when he take off his Killer Punch and while saying in his mind " It's up to God, whatever happens to or if i would kill this man...". Like a mad dog that wants to bite its enemy into pieces... And I didn't notice Barrera and Marquez does this before. Maybe the later uses teeter as a mouthpiece!

Kimo Morrison:

It is the difference between two cultures, as Mexicans learn to box growing up, sure they fight but the great Mexicans were technically proficient in every way such is the case with Erik. Asian fighters on the other hand learn to fight from a different stand point...Martial Arts...at least as a base in training as a child. If you research this with Pac you'll find it too be true. In Martial Arts you are taught to strike with the intent of killing a man with every blow. Because it is supposed to be used solely for the purpose of defense of ones life. Therefore he throws his punches with the intent to decapitate his foe and for this he says a prayer in case this should happen. I think he just has a problem with thinking about what is being said without opening his mouth and bites down to be sure that he doesn't lose it in the process and get caught flush with out one in! LOL

Rommel B. Dy: Pacquiao should won by knockout because I know if the boxer is coming from Asian country they have the chance to win in Decision. So for the judge will go for the score. Don't be Bias...

Kimo Morrison:

Okay, I won't

Dale: If Erik does beat Manny. That means that what Barrera said was true and that he wasn't himself when they fought. Do you agree with me? If that happens, I don't think its necessary for Pacquiao and Barrera to have a rematch. Do you agree? And if this happens, the "cheap socks" and the slightly fractured left hand of Pacquiao was just an excuse against Marquez. Do you agree? I really think that what Barrera said was true and i think Pacquiao might lose to Morales. Maybe Pacquiao just got lucky to be in the p4p rankings. Did you ever think of that?

Kimo Morrison:

No I don't cause even if MAB was up to par, it doesn't mean that because he beat Morales then Pac would automatically lose to him by default or something. Whether MAB was himself, he lost, period, he will have to redeem that lose by beating the man that beat him on that night so they must fight even if Pac loses. No I don't agree with that either, cause luck didn't KTFO of a lot of men that stood in front of Pac, he deserves to be where he is and if he loses so what? He still creates exciting bouts in which can be ended at the drop of a dime no matter how far ahead his challenger by points. He has what is called the great equalizer and it can not be taken as lucky. I bet MAB and JMM didn't feel lucky after getting clobbered with that left...

Caloy: Hi to all visland and jbr staff!!! Can Morales really beat Pacquiao? As far as I am concern JMM is much better fighter than EM. JMM hit the canvass three times on the first round. I think EM will be TKO by MPP on the first round.

Kimo Morrison:

Not a chance in Hell will this end in the 1st round and I am willing to bet you money on that! Name your price!

Bob: Hey dude!!! Don't be too bias... Plz make this website interesting not boring!!! ANSWER THE QUESTIONS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!!!!!

Kimo Morrison:

The way you want them to be? How should that be? I am bias....to my own opinion...so I will continue to answer the questions the way I see it breaking down. You tell me Bob, how will this fight end...EXACTLY...don't be bias now!

Mel Marquez: I have seen Pacman's last fight with Fahsan 3K Battery, where He knockout the Thai in fashion, lifting him off his feet via uppercut. Do You think he can do a repeat performance with Erik? Thanks and more power!!!!

Kimo Morrison:

He could, but Erik not likely to get caught that flush with an uppercut but would be GREAT!

Dude: I just want to know, if you were to bet, who would you put your money to between El Terrible and Pac Man? Thanks!

Kimo Morrison:

I would bet with the man that gave me the best return in money as far as odds, I don't bet usually with whom I think is actually going to win, I put money on the underdog as to win big if he should be on top of the dog pile instead.

mark: By means of punches whom do you think has the advantage MP or EM ?

Kimo Morrison:

The one who lands the most effective ones.

Triskelion Baby: Guys what do you think about the idea that: Erik will be fighting many in a hit-in-run strategy because Erik is psychologically preventing Manny's left straight and I don't think Erik will be fighting Manny eye-to-eye because I'm thinking that Erik's scientific boxing style will be applied come fight night. Meanwhile, Manny will always be in the offensive situation considering Erik's height and reach advantage. i also see in this fight that Manny will be overly motivated to KO Erik because the PACMAN is always impressed by the crowed watching over him in the ring this is where Manny gets his confidence and no fear character.

Kimo Morrison:

Good thoughts, it is all stuff that can definitely factor into the fight and as well think Manny could come in too anxious to KO Erik which will be a mistake if he does so.

Gary Cagaanan: I was wondering what Morales was weighing (as he stepped into the ring) when he last fought Barrera. For me, the closer Pacquiao stays to 126 e.g. 127 or 128, the better.

Kimo Morrison:

I belive it was 142lbs

mark gil balunzo: I had been a follower of MP and EM for quite a long time now and I noticed that since EM left the super bantam div. , he had lost tremendous power and speed as proven in his previous bouts which had almost all gone to 12 rds. And with his upcoming fight with Pacman I think the only way for him to win against MP is by out boxing this one dimensional southpaw. Unfortunately, if im not mistaken Pacman had not lost since 2000,and all his wins are all by KO. Although im a big fan of EM , I think this fight is a mismatch. I can see EM down repeatedly in round 8 and he will suffer his first KO loss in a brutal fashion. Am I right guys? Anyway I personally believe that there is only one in 126-130 division who can beat MP and that is Juan Manuel Marquez. I pity EM, I hope he will just back out in this fight, for sure MP will annihilate him. thanks.

Kimo Morrison:

I agree with your take whole heartedly EXCEPT the last part...I believe that MAB can beat Pac and hope to see the two of them rematch very soon after this bout takes place no matter who wins. It is needed for MAB...I know because if it were me that lost like that ( and I have) I would want to get back in there and give it another shot. Would be another GREAT fight at 130 if it were to be made...we can only hope
